This is a repackaged open source software wherein additional charges apply for extended support with a 24 hour response time.
Docker on Debian 11 provides a powerful platform for developing, shipping, and running applications in containers. This Amazon Machine Image (AMI) is designed for developers and system administrators looking to maximize the efficiency and portability of their applications in the AWS cloud environment.
Key Features:
- Containerization Support: Utilizes Docker to package applications and dependencies into isolated containers, ensuring consistency across different environments.
- Optimized for Debian 11: Built on a stable and secure Debian 11 base, offering robust performance and security enhancements.
- Ecosystem Integration: Seamlessly integrates with other AWS services (such as ECS and EKS) for orchestrating, managing, and scaling containerized applications.
- Easy Deployment: Pre-configured setup allows for quick deployment, minimizing setup time and enabling immediate productivity.
Benefits:
- Portability: Run the same containerized applications on any cloud infrastructure or on-premises, reducing deployment complexity.
- Resource Efficiency: Utilize system resources more effectively by running multiple containers on a single machine without the overhead of virtual machines.
- Scalability: Easily scale applications up or down depending on demand, providing flexibility to adapt to changing workloads.
- Development Speed: Accelerate development cycles by enabling DevOps practices like continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
Use Cases:
- Microservices Architecture: Build and manage scalable microservices that can be deployed independently.
- Application Testing: Quickly spin up testing environments for applications using the same setup as production, ensuring reliable testing outcomes.
- Legacy Application Modernization: Containerize legacy applications for easier management and integration with modern cloud solutions.
Start leveraging the power of containerization with Docker on Debian 11 today to enhance your application lifecycle management and operational agility.

Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
