Overall simple tool and user friendly but a larger amount of bugs
What do you like best about the product?
Drata does a really great job in being user friendly. I really like how the control mapping is done. The help center is also a helpful tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Drata has been experiencing a lot of bugs such as having multiple policies. Integration and formatting is not the best for the policy center. Less customization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata is helping with maintaining audits centralized with features such as evidence library and control ownership.

The Drata team was an essential part of our SOC2 certification.
What do you like best about the product?
We have recently completed our first SOC2 Audit, and I honestly do not think we could have done this successfully without the Drata framework and support from Elizabeth John and Courtney Barton. The Drata system is user friendly and comprehensive. The Live chat feature is exceptionally helpful to navigate questions about the platform itself and compliance. We had a series of meetings set up with Elizabeth who helped guide us through the initial set-up process, and adding evidence to our controls. Each meeting was an effective working session. Elizabeth was always prepared, kept us on task and an essential part of our SOC2 journey! I would also like to highlight our account manager, Courtney, for consistently checking in to make sure our current needs were met, where we may be heading in the future and how we might be able solve pain points for future audits. I would highly recommend Drata to other companies working to build a robust security platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes new policy templates were released, causing monitored controls to fail. It would be helpful to have a heads up on this so we would know what the failure was related to and act quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us maintain the required evidence, policies and processes to obtain and maintain SOC2 compliance.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Their on-demand support for platform questions is a great model. It is interactive and real-time.
What do you dislike about the product?
User Interface and Risk Management. The user interface isn't very friendly. Risk Register is pretty basic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its monitoring your compliance controls in real time.
Great GRC platform to monitor all controls in one place and to establish a source of truth.

The interface is very friendly and the team keeps developing new features, and support is super fast.

The Drata Agent needs more compatibility with UNIX systems.

Monitors our SOC 2 Controls.

Ability to track our risks w.r.t to personnel, process, infrastructure , policy and vendors - all in one place is super helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all auditors use Drata. So we need to supply the evidence manually in those cases.

It integrates well with our cloud platform and its automation to manage the risks across people, process/policy and infrastructure/technology helps us track and remediate those risks timely. It helps with our compliance needs to met our regulations and framework requirements.
The software is intiive and they have exelcent support

Defaut policy are close to what we want and they are easy to edit.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the agent does not communicate wiht the server.

What do you dislike about the product?
My particular auditor didn't seem to care that I'm using Drata and we still end up collaborating via spreadsheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata makes audit season MUCH MUCH easier, especially year over year, as now you have an excellent way of organizing evidence over time.

What do you like best about the product?
Using Drata has been an outstanding experience. The platform is incredibly user-friendly, and their 24/7 support makes navigating compliance straightforward. When I started my project, I had minimal knowledge about data security and relevant frameworks. Thanks to Drata’s comprehensive resources, I was able to educate myself more effectively than any book or course could have managed. The information is presented in layman’s terms, making it accessible to everyone. I highly recommend Drata to anyone looking to enhance their security measures.

Honestly there isn't anything to dislike
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company aimed to achieve ISO certification, but we lacked an in-house legal team and a data privacy officer. Drata's user-friendly platform and extensive resources addressed both of these challenges, enabling us to pass our initial certification with flying colors.
Good Repository of Policies and Procedures
What do you like best about the product?
Email notifications contain links that generally take me where I need to be. Dashboards and statuses are clear. Implemented quickly and we were quickly using it. The extra support for the first month was beneficial.
What do you dislike about the product?
As an infrequent user (a couple of times a week), I don't always remember which menu/toolbar items I need to click on if I am doing something outside of an email notification. The menu isn't always intuitive for me as to what I should click. The dashboard can be a little misleading when listing the completed task percentage - many tasks may be mostly finished but I'm not sure how to see, for example, that 20 tasks are completed and 40 tasks are 90+% done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata helps us ensure that our cloud product is secure. Certification will help us win contracts with larger prospects that are starting to ask for certifications completed.

What do you like best about the product?
Amazing product and customer service. The best feature are it's customizable cross-map that can go in-depth and assign tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a good product. The dislike would be probably more investment into the User Experience.
