IU wants to provide a modern education experience that delivers course content tailored to each student’s needs, but traditional content creation methods are time-consuming and resource-intensive. IU and AWS designed a scalable pipeline that automates video creation with generative AI. The solution uses a mixture of services such as Amazon Bedrock LLMs to generate summaries and slides from course books, 3rd party video generation technology to create talking avatars, and Amazon Transcribe to transcribe the spoken content and pinpoint where to display the relevant slides. Now IU will be able to reduce overall costs, scale its video generation process, and ensure system robustness and and resilience. -
